Day 1: Delhi to Manali – Overnight Volvo Journey

  • Arrival in Delhi: Upon reaching Delhi by flight or train, proceed to your designated Volvo bus boarding point.
  • Boarding Points: Common boarding locations include:
    • Majnu Ka Tilla: A popular pickup point for many private operators.
    • RK Ashram Marg Metro Station: Conveniently located near Connaught Place.
    • ISBT Kashmiri Gate: Major interstate bus terminal in Delhi.
  • Departure Time: Most Volvo buses to Manali depart between 5:00 PM and 11:55 PM. It’s advisable to arrive at your chosen boarding point at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
  • Bus Details: The journey to Manali is approximately 550 km, taking around 13–14 hours. Buses are typically AC semi-sleeper Volvos, offering comfortable reclining seats and onboard amenities.

Overnight Journey: Travel overnight in the Volvo bus, enjoying the scenic route as you ascend into the Himalayas.

 

Day 2: Manali Local Sightseeing

  • Morning Arrival in Manali: Upon reaching Manali in the morning, you’ll be greeted and transferred by private car to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in, take some time to rest and freshen up.
  • Afternoon Sightseeing Tour:
  1. Hadimba Devi Temple: Visit this ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, wife of Bhima from the Mahabharata. Built in 1553, it’s renowned for its unique pagoda-style architecture and is surrounded by a serene cedar forest known as Dhungiri Van Vihar.

Day 4: Manali – Kullu – Kasol – Manikaran – Manali

  • Morning: After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full-day excursion covering Kullu, Kasol, and Manikaran.

  • Distance from Manali: Approximately 40 km (1.5–2 hours by road).
  • Activities:

🛕 Manikaran Sahib

  • Distance from Kasol: Approximately 4 km (15 minutes by road).

  • Evening: After exploring Manikaran, commence your return journey to Manali.
  • Dinner & Overnight Stay: Upon arrival in Manali, enjoy dinner at your hotel and relax overnight.

🚌 Day 5: Manali to Delhi – Overnight Volvo Journey

  • Morning: After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, check out and store your luggage at the hotel’s reception. You have free time to explore Mall Road for any last-minute shopping or to savor local delicacies.
  • Afternoon: Return to the hotel to collect your luggage and prepare for your journey back to Delhi.
  • Evening – Volvo Bus Departure:
  • Note: It’s advisable to arrive at your chosen boarding point at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Ensure you have your e-ticket and a valid ID proof for boarding.
  • Overnight: Travel overnight in the Volvo bus, enjoying the comfortable journey back to Delhi.
